Congratulations to Shapleigh School 7th grader Stella Caruso who was honored recently by the Kittery Town Council for her award-winning essay, "If I Led My Community." The essay contest was sponsored by the Maine Municipal Association. Stella was one of only three winners statewide, and she received a $250 Visa gift card for her achievement. Congratulations to Stella, her family, and her teacher, Mr. Waters.
